What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The mission of this criminal legal reform project is to educate the public about the role of prosecutors and prosecutorial misconduct through researching and publishing current events related to prosecutorial misconduct.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 PEP is working to pass legislation to strengthen discovery rules and to hold prosecutors accountable for their intentional misconduct by researching and drafting state specific legislation, consulting with experts around the country, and hiring attorneys and lobbyists to work with legislators and local and nationwide partners who is supporting the project.
