	The first Cessna 182 Plane received a new overhauled engine and propellor in 2022. An engine was purchased to be ready for the next Cessna 172 Plane overhaul, recommended at 2000 hours. Reserves are adequate to keep all 7 planes maintained with a minimum of downtime.The organization has a waiting list of pilots wanting to join the club. A second Cessna 182 was leased in May, and a second Cessna 172 was purchased for the Claremore, Oklahoma location in August of 2022. Seventy-seven members flew 2080 hours in 2022. Several student pilots became licensed pilots and a number of pilots earned their instrument ratings.The club originated in 1953, so 2023 will be the 70th anniversary. Celebration plans are underway.To raise funds for engine overhauls, the raffle plane was a newly painted 1976 Grumman American, model AA-1B valued at $31,240. Over 4,000 tickets were sold for $50 and the club netted over $94,000 after expenses. Each ticket included a social membership in the club.
