Explanation:

Form 8868 was filed and a paper 990 ez for 2021 was mailed certified on 12.10.22 prior to the extension deadline of 2.15.23 . It was returned requiring that the filing be submitted via e-file. It was received by the IRS regular mail on 2.9.23. It was e-filed and rejected on 2.14.23 due to the IRS having an incorrect fiscal year. We have received confirmation via regular mail that the IRS has corrected their records to reflect the correct fiscal accounting period ending 1.31. Therfore we are resubmitting after securing an officers signature at the earliest date possible. We are requesting a waiver of any penalties as this return was filed in a timely manner and this is a new filing requirement that has just been implemented by the IRS.
