4	The Wisconsin DeMolay Foundation (WDF) was established in 1947 for the purpose of providing support to the Order of DeMolay,
4	a fraternal organization for boys 12-21 within the State of Wisconsin. WDF historically raised money though charitable donations
4	from the public. Today , the majority of its revenues - Dividend & Interest Income - is derrived from its investment portfolio.
4	Through active management, the investment portfolio also generates positive cash flow through the selective liquidations of
8	investment positions. While this active management attempts to target appreciated assets to realize long-term gains, it is
8	sometimes necessary to sell positions that have not appreciated or have slightly decreased in market value in order to reinvest the
8	cash generated from those sales by purchasing other investments that have greater potential for appreciation
8	and income generation.
5b	In addition to its investment portfolio, WDF operates The Butler Retreat Center - a rental property in Northern Wisconsin near
5b	Rhinelander, WI. The Butler Retreat Center is rented out primarily to DeMolay youth groups located within Wisconsin. In addition,
5b	the facility is rented out to other Masonic-Sponsored Youth Groups (i.e., Job's Daughters & Rainbow for Girls). The Butler Retreat
5b	Center offers the opportunity for youths to experience the rustic setting of Northern Wisconsin outdoors as well as "getting
5b	away" from the boy's/girl's traditional home environment (typically urban). Youth groups are charged a nominal time-based fee
5b	for using the facility. As with most rental assets, The Butler Retreat Center incurrs the normal, typical, & recurring operating
5b	expenses associated with such a rental facility (e.g., electricity, telephone, custodial, maintenance, supplies, equipment, security, etc.,).
5b	Sometimes, necessary & sufficient maintenance & equipment expenditures are of a significant/sufficient enough amount that
5b	these costs are capitalized and their expense recognized over their respective useful lives as depreciation expense.
