What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? COMMUNITY SERVICE
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 THE MILL CREEK RURITAN CLUB DOES MANY ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, INCLUDING FUNDRAISING, AND FROM THE PROCEEDS, GIVES OUT SCHOLARSHIPS, GIVES MEALS TO PEOPLE IN NEED, DONATES GOODS AND SERVICES TO NEEDY FAMILIES, AND OTHER MANY IMPORTANT COMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES. THE GANOE SCHOLARSHIP THAT THE RURITAN CLUB GIVES OUT IS FOR AGRICULTURAL RELATED FIELDS. THIS PROMOTES THE GROWTH OF FARMS AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL BUSINESSES AND ACTIVITIES IN THE COUNTY AND SURROUNDING AREA. THEIR OTHER SCHOLARSHIP IS GIVEN OUT FOR GENERAL STUDIES. THIS ONE IS GIVEN OUT IN TWO PARTS: ONE IN THE FIRST HALF OF A STUDENT'S SENIOR YEAR, AND THE OTHER IN THE SECOND HALF IN THE THE SECOND SEMESTER IF THE STUDENT IS STILL ENROLLED IN HIGH SCHOOL. THIS HELPS TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AND STAYING IN SCHOOL DURING A TIME WHEN STUDENTS MAY STRUGGLE TO REMAIN IN SCHOOL. THE RURITAN CLUB ALSO DONATED PROCEEDS OF IT'S REVENUE TO VARIOUS CHURCHES, 4-H CLUBS, FFA CLUBS, LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAMS, AND OTHER CHARITIES AND NEEDY PEOPLE SO THEY CAN BENEFIT FROM THE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES THE RURITAN CLUB ORGANIZES. THE CLUB ORGANIZES TWO LARGE MEALS A YEAR CALLED ELIMINATION DINNERS AND FROM THOSE DINNERS COME MOST OF THE MONEY THAT GOES OUT IN THE SCHOLARSHIPS THAT ARE GIVEN OUT IN THE YEAR. THE BUILDING THAT THE RURITAN CLUB OWNS IS ALSO NOW USED AS A PLACE FOR PUBLIC FORUMS AND A VOTING CENTER DURING ELECTION TIMES. THIS PROMOTES COMMUNITY AND GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT AND INTERACTION.
