THESE FUNDS SUPPORT STUDENTS ATTENDING GOVERNMENT OR LARGER TOWNSHIP SCHOOLS OUTSIDE THE VILLAGES. AT THE BEGINNING OF 2022, 234 STUDENTS AND 774 FAMILY MEMBERS BENEFITTED FROM THIS PROGRAM. - SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS WERE ACTIVE IN 10 VILLAGES, DIRECTLY BENEFITTING 164 STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE. - INDIVIDUAL SHANTA DONORS CURRENTLY SPONSOR SEVENTEEN STUDENTS TO ATTEND HTOO CHUN BOARDING SCHOOL IN THE AYEYARWADY REGION OF MYANMAR. |
