The American Legion has 4 pillars under which all programs & activities fall: (1) Veteran's Affairs & Rehabilitation; (2) Promote the American Legion; (3) Promote Americanism; and (4) Children & Youth. Our mission is to develop and promote programs and activities relating to each of these 4 pillars upon which the American Legion is built.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The American Legion Post has members who pay annually and/or for life.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	The management of the Post is supervised by the Post Executive Committee, consisting od not less than 21 members of the Post. The Post Executive Committee includes Post Officers, the immediate Past Commander, and at least 10 at-large members of the Post. All members of the Post Executive Committee, except the immediate Past Commander, are elected annually by the membership of the Post. Board of Trustees hold title to real and personal property of the Post and must initiate any purchase, sale, change, alteration or addition to real property of the Post. They also oversee any long-term use and rental of Post property. The Board of Trustees consists of 5 members of the Post. Our Trustees are elected each year for a term of 5 years on nomination by the Post Commander and election by the Post Executive Committee. No Trustee may hold any other elected office in the Post and may not succeed themselves.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	By reservations contained in the Post Constitution and By-Laws, the Post membership have reserved the right to approve: (a) amendments to the Post Constitution and By-Laws, (b) the sale or other disposition of real property, (c) the admission of new members, (d) the annual budget of the Post and any amendments to the annual budget, (e) the amount of dues to be paid annually to the Post, (f) the election of all Post Officers and Members of the Post Executive Committee
