What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO FOSTER THE GAME OF BRIDGE FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BY OFFERING FRIENDLY AND COMPETITIVE DUPLICATE BRIDGE GAMES TO PLAYERS OF ALL LEVELS.

28 THE VAST MAJORITY OF OUR CLUB'S 100+ MEMBERS ARE SENIOR CITIZENS. ALL OF US, REGARDLESS OF AGE, ENJOY KEEPING OUR MINDS SHARP PLAYING BRIDGE IN A CONGENIAL, SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE AT THE BRIDGE CENTER. WE HAVE A VARIETY OF GAMES EACH WEEK, DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE PLAYERS OF DIFFERENT SKILL LEVELS.WE ARE A TEACHING CLUB, OFFERING DIFFERENT LEVELS OF INSTRUCTION TO HELP INTERESTED PEOPLE LEARN TO PLAY BRIDGE AND/OR IMPROVE THEIR PLAYING ABILITIES. OUR CLASSES AVERAGE ANYWHERE FROM 12-40 STUDENTS AND ARE OFFERED MULTIPLE TIMES PER YEAR.OUR CLUB ALSO OFFERS TOURNAMENTS EACH YEAR, ATTRACTING OUT-OF-TOWN PLAYERS AS WELL AS LOCALS. OUR GAMES AND TOURNAMENTS PROVIDE PLAYERS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO EARN "POINTS" RESULTING IN DIFFERENT LEVELS OF RECOGNITION FROM THE AMERICAN CONTRACT BRIDGE LEAGUE.
