DESPITE THE CHALLENGES OF THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS, EPA PROVIDED 5 DAY A WEEK ON-CAMPUS INSTRUCTION THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR. STUDENTS CONTINUED TO EXCEL ACADEMICALLY WHILE GROWING SOCIALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. EAST POINT ACADEMY IS A GREAT PLACE FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN AND GROW. OUR STUDENTS ARE PROGRESSING IN THEIR LANGUAGE ACQUISITION WHILE EXCELLING IN THEIR CORE CONTENT CLASSES. OUR DEPARTING 8TH GRADE STUDENTS ARE MATRICULATING TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH UP TO NINE CARNEGIE UNIT CREDITS INCLUDING UP TO FOUR IN CHINESE. OUR NEW SPANISH TRACK AT THE MIDDLE CAMPUS IS GOING VERY WELL AND ADDS TO OUR FOCUS ON BEING A GLOBAL, MULTI-CULTURAL SCHOOL. EPA HAS A FULL COMPLEMENT OF EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMS. OUR ATHLETIC OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE COMPETITION ARCHERY, CROSS COUNTRY AND BASKETBALL TEAMS, INTRAMURAL SPORTS, VARIOUS SPORTS CAMPS, RUN HARD CLUB, MARTIAL ARTS AND GYMNASTICS. OUR ARTS OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE MUSIC, DANCE, PIANO, CELLO, GUITAR, CHORUS, STRINGS AND VARIOUS VISUAL ARTS PROGRAMS.
