Name:
The Links Incorporated South Jersey Chapter
EIN:
22-6071771
Explanation:
*** Request to Waive Late Filing Penalty Due To Reasonable Cause Similar statement submitted for 2020 filing. Both 2020 & 2021 returns are being submitted now. Both returns had been mailed at the same time. We had no way of knowing that the returns were not received by the IRS the letter indicating this. Every year we submit our return via U.S. Mail. And thus far, We have never had an issue like this. Our organization made a good faith effort to file the tax returns timely by mail. This is the first time we are electing to file our tax return electronically, so as to confirm the returns are actually received this time. We have always been timely with filing our 990EZ return. There were extenuating circumstances, including the outgoing Treasurer dealing with the death of a family member and being unaware that additional steps were needed. We have now established a back-up team to work with members who are transitioning from the Financial positions in our organization. Please waive any late-filing fees as we have reasonable cause.
