Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The mission of the Florida Local Government Information Systems Association (FLGISA) is to provide a forum for managers of Florida's local government information systems departments to be able to share experiences and learn new technologies. Ultimately, the mission of FLGISA is to assist managers in providing the best possible service in the most efficient way to our customers, the citizens of the state of Florida.

	Annual Conference - The 2022 Annual Conference was held in Hollywood this year in July. The conference offered up to 15 hours of CEU credits available in multiple breakout sessions. The conference also provided opportunities for attendees to network with local government technology leaders, learn about the latest technology and security trends, and a chance to visit the technology pavilion. Topics covered this year included retaining IT talent, new trends in GIS Panel, local government and the cloud, ERP implementation, and cybersecurity. A total of 263 registrants attended this year's conference.

	Winter Symposium - The 2022 Winter Symposium was held in Kissimmee this year in January. The symposium offered attendees networking opportunities with over 150 local government technology leaders, a chance to learn about the latest technology and security trends, and an opportunity to visit technology vendor partners. Some of the topics covered in this year's symposium included zero trust architecture, software audits, cyber insurance, and cybersecurity. A total of 141 registrants attended this year's symposium.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	Membership in the FLGISA is open to local governments operating within the State of Florida. This includes, but is not limited to, cities, counties, property appraisers, law enforcement, courts and public schools. The jurisdiction is the member, so there is only one membership fee per jurisdiction. Each member jurisdiction has one vote in the organization and that vote belongs to the jurisdiction's decision maker for technology services. This may be the chief information officer, director of technology, manager of technology, city clerk, finance officer, city/county manager or any other position that has ultimate responsibility for the technology function.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	Each member agency is entitled to one vote which is cast by the official representative or their designee.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 8b	Committees make recommendations to the Boad of Directors for formal action.
