Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, established in 1972, is a gateway organization designed to foster business and economic growth in the Sacramento Region. Its mission is to promote and develop business growth for members and provide access to the Hispanic market.

	The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce provides networking and advocacy to 400+ Chamber members.The Chamber holds two banquets each year which recognize outstanding Chamber members and community leaders who have contributed to the betterment of the Chamber and the Hispanic community. The Annual Business Awards and Community Recognition Gala inspires involvement from all Hispanic Chamber members, and the Estrella Awards are presented to outstanding Hispanic women in the community.The State of Hispanics is a program which highlights the impact and influence of Hispanics in the Sacramento area. Trends in education, civic engagement, business, health, lifestyle and culture in the Hispanic community are discussed.
