Part XI Line 9	The ($120,168), other changes in ent assets consists of two items. The
Part XI Line 9	first is a negative $241,328. This number consists of a retirement of
Part XI Line 9	patronage capital in the amount of $399,105, an increase in fund balances
Part XI Line 9	of $161,914, due to unclaimed patronage capital brought back into other
Part XI Line 9	fund balances and a payout of $4,137 in unclaimed patronage capital that
Part XI Line 9	decreased other fund balances during the year. The second items consists of
Part XI Line 9	a $120,160 decrease in the market adjustment valuation of our post
Part XI Line 9	retirement benefits. Our post retirement benefits is determined by an
Part XI Line 9	actuarial study each year and we do not fund any portion of that balance.
Part XI Line 9	JCREMC has shown patronage retirement to its memebers in the other changes
Part XI Line 9	in net assets or fund balances section. JCREMC has not shown any amount of
Part XI Line 9	patronage retirement on 990, Section IX, Statement of Functional Expenses,
Part XI Line 9	line 4. The reason that Section IX, line 4 does not include any retirments
Part XI Line 9	from patronage is due to the fact that none of the amounts that wer
Part XI Line 9	retired from the patronage of JCREMC were operating expenses, but were
Part XI Line 9	rather merely a return of JCREMC's equity.The presentation shown by JCREMC
Part XI Line 9	was done in order to adequately supply all necessary information to the
Part XI Line 9	service as well as accuarately disclose the activity of JCREMC for the year
