What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Support and assist La Societe Des Quarante Hommes Et Huit Chevaux, commonly called The 40 and 8, in their Programs. Some of these Programs are Americanism, Child Welfare, Nurses' Training Programs, Carville Star, National Box Car Association, POW/MIA Survivors Scholarship Program and Youth Sports. More detailed information is available on the fortyandeight.org website.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Donated funds to the following Voiture Programs: Nurses' Training Scholarship Program of $600 to sponsor 1 Nurse for 2 semesters @ $300; Carville Star Donor Fund: Program Buy-A-Country supported 4 Countries @ $50 each for 1 year; Aid to the Voiture Program: Donated $100 to the Voiture in support of various donations to Veteran Programs. In addition, Dames donated time and mileage in assisting the Voiture in Administrative Services such as preparing and sending out Meeting Notices and traveling to meet with various members and assisting them as requested.
