IN 2022, THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED CONTRIBUTIONS TOTALING $25,000,314 FROM 1,182 DONORS WHO MADE 1,503 DONATIONS. THE FOUNDATION DISBURSED 2,514 GRANTS TOTALING $18,582,780 TO OUR REGION IN CENTRAL VIRGINIA AND BEYOND TO INITIATIVES WORKING IN A BOARD RANGE OF IMPACT AREAS AND CAUSES. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED 199 STUDENTS THROUGH SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT TOTALING $933,890. THE FOUNDATION OPENED 31 NEW FUNDS IN 2022 AND MANAGED 432 FUNDS AS OF DECEMBER 31,2022. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO SUPPORT AND CLOSE OUT MULTI-YEAR COMMITMENTS MADE THROUGH ITS DISCRETIONARY GRANTS PORTFOLIO OF PROGRAMS AND REFINE THE DESIGN OF NEW PROGRAMS TO BE INTRODUCED IN 2023.
