	Fund two scholarships each year. The scholarship is not a needs-based scholarship program, but rather one where eligible high school seniors compete for the awards. The candidates need to demonstrate a tie to veterans either through family or community service. Direct support of American Legion events will earn additional consideration. No scholarships were awarded for the year ending August 31, 2021 due to the COVID pandemic having severely affected our ability to raise funds.
