What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Show-Me-Select(R) Replacement Heifer Program uses the latest research on health, nutrition, genetics and reproductive science to ensure Missouri counties continue to be national leaders in providing quality beef. The program focuses on Missouri's farmers and is dependent upon active participation from regional extension livestock specialists and local veterinarians, each of which are critical components of the agricultural sector of this state. This program is unique in that it is an educational program targeted at improving production efficiency through increased use of existing technology, coupled with the marketing component.

Letter 2695C received referencing: 0422862358. Paper form 990EZ was previously filed by mail and received by the IRS June 27, 2021. The notice stated that the Form 990-EZ requires electronic filing and that it be submitted after July 1, 2021. After speaking with an IRS representative: XXX-XX-XXXX, it was also advised the 990-EZ being filed for 2021 be changed to a calendar year filing for consistency with previous filings. While the initial filing was received on June 27, 2021, this letter was dated December 22, 2022. The university closes from December 25- January 1. This letter was not received until the department reopened on January 2, 2022 and then had to be routed to the primary tax preparer: Erin Larimore at 17120 Bryson Rd, Green Ridge, MO.
