Explanation:
I was unable to file the 990ez postcard for a number of years and continually got a run-around from the people at the IRS. In August of 2022 I spoke with Mrs. Stevenson (IRS no. 1003363539) and she advised me in the process of reinstating our tax-exempt status. She told me to mail my form 990 for 2021 in with my reinstatement paperwork. I received communication from IRS (letter number LTR2695C) on 2022-12-12 that I needed to e-file. That is what I am doing now. I have tried repeatedly to get someone on the phone to talk to to make sure that I'm doing this correctly. This is my last ditch-effort. I THINK our tax-exempt status has been reinstated (you took my $600!) and now I feel that I have appropriate knowledge of what I am to do annually to maintain our tax exempt status. As far as reasonable cause: I work full time from 8-5pm, I have 4 children, and my husband has Thyroid cancer. I'm doing my best and hope and pray you will show mercy on my soul and the souls of all the dearly departed who reside in the Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery.
