| General explanation attachment | This is an educational/recreational organization. We has acquired ownership in various aircraft equipment which allows its members to engage in glider flying. We provides towplanes, and gliders to its pilots and additionally provides flight training to its members to become glider pilots. Club towplanes also are used to support members of the WA State Soaring Community for a number of glider encampments and contest held during 2022. Some glider pilots own their own aircraft and utilize club towplanes to get pulled aloft. Club membership is open to the general public. Dues are paid by members to offset the costs of running the club and flight fees are paid to use gliders and towing equipment. Flight Instruction is provided to train non-pilot members who join to learn to fly glilders. |
