Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 4	The number of voting members of the corporation has been reduced from thirty-one (31) members to nineteen (19) in the bylaws. The new voting board member count will be reduced to this number by the end of 2023.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc. has approximately 150,000 active certificants.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	The Federal Form 990 is prepared by staff. The return is reviewed by the Chief Executive Officer and she consults with the Board of Trustees as needed.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c	Upon taking the appointment, each new board member or consultant completes the conflict of interest form. These forms are updated annually by individuals still involved with the organization and the forms are reviewed and kept on file at the Executive Office.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15a	The Executive Committee evaluates the CEO each August/September and recommends salary adjustments. The Board of Trustees then approves the recommendations during their winter board meeting. An outside consultant reviews CEO compensation levels every two years and reports to the Board of Trustees.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	All governing documents, conflict of interest policies and the financial statements are avaiable to the public upon request.
