| Form 990, Part III, Line 4d: Other Program Services Description | OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Annual Economic Summit & Membership Meeting: SWAMC holds an annual Conference in Anchorage with a full two-day agenda focused on issues relevant to our region. Attendees include Federal, State, and local government and agency representatives as well as business, non-profit, and SWAMC Membership. Approximately 100 participants attend. The FY22 Conference was held in early March 2023. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Denali Commission: DC provided a one-time grant for CY2020 to fund ARDORs' planning and regional support efforts previously funded by the State of Alaska. SWAMC also used some of this funding as match for our USDA REDA-EA grant. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: COVID-19 Relief Programs: SWAMC provided an online tool for businesses affected by the pandemic to find relief funding and contracted with an individual to provide full-time assistance to businesses via phone and email. SWAMC also worked with the United Way of Anchorage to disburse pass-through funds to applicants regionwide in need of rent, utility, or childcare assistance due to pandemic-related job losses. |

| Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder | SWAMC is a membership based organization and has two classes of members, Municipal and Associate. Municipal Members incude local governments entities (cities and boroughs); Associate Members include non-profit organizations and for-profit business. |
