OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: BOOT CAMP - THE INSTITUTES POLITICAL CANDIDATE TRAINING PROGRAM, BOOT CAMP PROVIDES A COMPLETE TRAINING CURRICULUM FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN CANDIDATES AND CAMPAIGN WORKERS. THIS PROGRAM INSTRUCTS PARTICIPANTS IN THE EXPERTISE AND TECHNIQUES REQUIRED FOR CONDUCTING A SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN FOR ELECTIVE OFFICE. IN ADDITION TO TRAINING CANDIDATES FOR ELECTIVE OFFICE, THIS PROGRAM ALSO TRAINS TACTICIANS AND KEY STAFF WHO WILL CONDUCT SUCH CAMPAIGNS.
