What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The mission of the North Plains Events Association, Inc. is to promote a variety of ways to bring the community of North Plains, Oregon, and its neighboring areas together. To bring awareness of community happenings and to celebrate its agricultural and city culture environment. We want to create innovative opportunities for all citizens. To include being an educational resource which encourages community and family involvement in an environment combining nature, music, art, and entertainment. Our vision is to bring attention to the beautiful City of North Plains by uniting all of these elements to help build a stronger community.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Successful completion of our North Plains Elephant Garlic Festival three-day event, our Strawberry Shortcake Feast, and our Holiday Bazaar. We have contracted with the City of North Plains and completed their annual Volunteer Recognition, city wide Garages Sale Day, Clean-Up Day, Ice Cream Social, 4th of July Celebration, the Chili Cook-Off and the Holiday Jingle (night parade).
