Explanation:

2022 is the first year that our non-profit has been legal, and we are a very small operation trying to promote an area of southern Utah that is extremely rural. We did not know that the filing must be done electronically. We filed the proper forms and submitted them via US mail before the deadline, which the IRS received on May 1, 2023. I was notified that this must be filed electronically and as soon as we received notice, we filed immediately, as you can see.
