What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? We are a small homeowners association. We only have 85 homes in our neighborhood. We are a cash group. The only money generated is from the HOA dues and those moneys go primarily to pay for landscaping needs of the neighborhood.

28 We are a neighborhood association. We have a total of 85 homes. We collect dues (that is our only way of raising money) and those moneys are used primarily to take care of the landscaping needs of the neighborhood.

Explanation:
The Springmill Ridge HOA underwent a full board member change in March 2022, as all unpaid volunteers, the new board members were unfamiliar with the procedure of filing 990EZ; to make matters worse, the new treasurer has been ill since May, 2023, and thought the HOA president had filed the 990EZ, and thus led to the accidental missing of the filing deadline.
