Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Hyder Community Association HCA exists for the betterment of the Community of Hyder Alaska. We operate a community building which houses a library fire hall meeting room Association Office USFS Office and exercise room. We maintain 13 mile of road for the State of Alaska and provide road maintenance and snow removal on the side streets and driveways. We operate a small landfill and burn unit for trash.

	The Hyder Dept of Transportation provides road maintenance and snow removal within the townsite for the 100 residents abd 40,000 seasonal visitors. The HCA provides contract road maintenance for the State of Alaska and Ascot resources which provide valuable jobs to the residents of HYder.

Part VI, Line 6	The Hyder Community Association has members who elect a Board of Directors to manage the day to day business. The HCA is incorporated under the laws of the State of Alaska.
Part VI, Line 7a	The members of the HCA elect the 7 members for the Board of Directors who serve two year terms.
Part VI, Line 7b	The members of the HCA annually approve the operating budget for the Association

Part VI, Line 19	The HCA Bylaws are on file in the Association office and are available for review during office hours. The Monthly and Annual financial statements are reviewed and approved at monthly or annual public meetings of the Directors or the General Membership.
