Briefly describe the organization’s mission: To promote the prosperity and welfare of the city and county of Santa Fe and their inhabitants, to preserve and maintain the ancient landmarks, historical structures and traditions of Old Santa Fe and to guide their growth and development in such a way as to promote that unique charm and distinction, born of age, culture, tradition and environment, which are the priceless assets and heritage of Santa Fe.

	The Old Santa Fe Association engaged in a variety of historic preservation and advocacy activities during 2022. These included 1) continued public education regarding the City's Culture History Art Reconciliation and Truth process following the toppling of the Soldier's Monument on the Plaza, 2) observation and advocacy at the Historic Design Review Board and Planning Commission (quasi-judicial bodies) regarding land use and development in Santa Fe's historic districts and beyond, 3) historic preservation education with Historic Preservation Division staff and developers on projects such as the New Mexico School for the Arts, Alvord School, and the Modern Elders Academy, 4) direct support for neighborhoods included the Candlelight, Sol Y Lomas and Tiempos Lindos neighborhoods regarding re-zoning issues, 5) collaborative work on the Santa Fe County ordinance with County Commissioners on Short Term Rental Regulation, 6) support for the City's Midtown Redevelopment Plan via OSFA's Land Use Committee, 7) park and historic locomotive adoption and subsequent maintenance and re-painting of the train, and 8) public engagement and education through a lecture on Santa Fe's railroading history.

Members in good standing are defined as those who have paid annual dues and are thereby entitled to make motions and vote at the annual membership meeting. A quorum for meetings of the members of the Association shall be ten (10) members, in person or by proxy.
