What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The West Frankfort Federation of Teachers Local 817 is a non-profit labor organization that represents certified employees of West Frankfort CUSD 168 through collective bargaining. The organization promotes high professional standards by obtaining adequate salaries and working conditions for its members and promotes the participation of certified staff and admin of the schools. The organization works to raise standards of the education profession by securing the conditions essential to the best professional service.
