What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Revere Teachers Association is a union of professional educators formed to advocate and bargain for the improved wages, hours, and working conditions of its members.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 During the FYE 2022, RTA engaged in bargaining relevant to changes in working conditions necessitated by the COVID-19 Pandemic and completes successor bargaining for the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Association and the Revere Public Schools School Committee. RTA enforced the CBA through the grievance and arbitration process and filing of unfair labor practice charges. Further, RTA contributed to charitable work in the Revere community and supported students through the Revere High scholarship program.
