28 We lease a university owned facility to house our undergraduate chapter members at Southeast Missouri State University. Rent, utilities, and other maintenance fees, paid by us, ensures the operation of the house for the benefit of the student members living in the house to enhance their college experience. Explanation:
I had an unexpected heart surgery in the fall and turned over the finances to another volunteer. He was unaware of the IRS filing requirement. When I recovered and began to work with the finances this spring I became aware of the error in the 990 form not having been filed. I immediately completed the form and I am currently submitting it. Sorry for the mistake on our part. We are a small group without professional tax preparation.
