To provide a post home for returning military members after deployments and upon separation from the military. Allows friendship and fellowship with other veterans that have served in a combat zone in various military conflicts.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 10 Post provides funds to support veterans in need of food, utilities, partial rent payments, transportation and gasoline, etc. Post Commander can approve a one-time grant up to $200 for a needy veteran/family. Support is provided to the VFW National Home for Children. Sponsorship is provided to local little league and school sports teams. Provides food boxes for the familes of needy veterans before the Christmas holidays. Provide support for "Operation Stand-Down" to assist recently released/retired servicemembers adjust to civilian life. Cash prizes are given to local students who win the "Voice of Democracy" (public speaking) and the "Patriot Pen" (written essay) program. Assist in sponsoring local community events (Memorial Day Grave Marking/Flag Program - Flag Retirement Ceremonies in June - 4th of July Program - Veterans Day Parade/Programs - 101st Airborne Division's "Week of the Eagle" with Ft. Campbell, KY). Partnered with "Hunting for Heros" to provide no cost hunting trips for disabled veterans in Wyoming.
