Part VI, Section B, Line 1	The Organization exist to provide pension benefits for the volunteer firefighters of the Lakeville Municipal Fire Department. Each firefighter is a member of the Organization and has voting rights. The board consists of 6 firefighters and 3 "Ex-Officio" Members consisting of one City Council Member the City Clerk Treasurer and the City Fire Chief. The board oversees the daily operations of the organization. The members vote on major items that affect the Organization as a whole.
Part VI, Line 6	The Organization is made up of members of the Municipal Fire Department. All Firefighters and retired firefighters not currently receiving benefits are members of the Organization.
Part VI, Line 7a	The members are all voting members who elect a board to oversee the operations.
Part VI, Line 7b	The daily operations are approved by the board. Any decisions related to benefit amounts bylaw changes or any significant decisions are approved by the members by a majority vote.
Part VI, Line 12c	The organization doesn't have an official Conflict of Interest Policy however Minnesota statutes require all members of the board file an Economic Interest Statement Annually. These statements are on file for review upon request.
