	VFW Post #2536 continues to deal with the financial impact of the COVID pandemic. The main resource for contributions made to other charitable organizations is solely dependent on member donations and the revenue from gaming activities. Gaming revenue has been significantly reduced due to the availability of gaming supplies and also the reduction in member attendance at our facility.

Just days prior to the deadline for filing, our accountant was diagnosed with a severe case of the gout in the right foot and received emergency medical care. This medical condition triggered an exerbation of COPD which then left our accountant incapacited past the due date of filing our return. Our return is being filed as soon as possible after recovery. We request a waiver from any penalities for this unfortunate delay.
