During the relevant tax extension filing period, our organization experienced a sudden and severe basement flooding incident that required immediate attention and extensive repairs. This was followed by many other repairs to try and prevent it from occurring again. This occupied all senior leadership and rendered us unable to complete taxes within the extension deadline (May 16th.)
