Pt V, Line 4 The goal of the NETWORK Endowment Fund shall be to provide financial security for the support of current NETWORK activities and to ensure the development of future NETWORK programs.
Pt X, Line 2 NETWORK is exempt from federal and local income taxes under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code on any net income derived from activities related to the exempt purpose. NETWORK is taxed on net income from unrelated business activities. For the years ended December 31, 2022 and 2021, NETWORK did not generate any net income from unrelated business activities. NETWORK is required to file Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax. Returns for the years ended 2022, 2021, and 2020 are subject to examination by the IRS generally for three years after they were filed. The Corporation does not believe it has any uncertain tax positions and, accordingly, will not recognize any liability for them.
