Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Florida City and County Management Association is a professional organization of practicing public administrators from throughout Florida local governments. The Association was chartered in 1946 as a non-profit corporation to elevate professionalism among the state's 477 cities and counties, and to promote the council-manager form of government as the form that advances the highest ethical and professional standards.

	The Annual Conference is held each year in May/June. The conference provides outstanding educational and networking opportunities to meet and interact with other local government officials. Topics covered this year included ethics, cyber threats, leadership, negotiations, managing through conflict, mental health services & emergency response, FEMA, and future trends in local government. A total of 298 individuals registered for this year's conference.

	The Winter Institute is a day-and-a-half interactive conference for FCCMA full members. It is limited to 90 FCCMA members and 10 corporate attendees. It is designed to be an intense, interactive workshop for Florida's city and county managers and assistants. This year's topic was lessons learned from failure. A total of 102 individuals registered for this year's Winter Institute.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	The organization has Full and Life members. Full members and Life members have voting rights. These members are the full-time, appointed chief administrative officer (or deputy, assistant or equivalent) of a municipal or county government or a former FCCMA or ICMA member from another state in good standing who has retired. Other members include affiliate, corporate, student and subscriber. These members can serve on committees but do not have voting rights. Each class of membership pays a different amount of dues, the amount being set by the board.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	The Board of Directors - 15 members - is elected by the membership - Full and Life members. Each officer serves a one-year term (President, President-elect, Secretary-Treasurer, Past President) and district directors serve two-year terms divided by odd/even numbered years; there are 3 at-large seats that are 2-year terms, staggered. There are no appointed seats.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b	The membership adopts amendments to the by-laws, once the board has approved it and the membership approves the minutes of the annual meeting each year, per the charter. The membership also votes on the board of directors.
