    1 The goal of Cincinnati Astronomical Society CAS is to provide its members with the tools knowledge and camaraderie to facilitate and further their interest in astronomy. Throughout the year CAS also participates in public outreach by hosting its own publicly-accessible events as well as participating with various organizations and businesses throughout our region to educate the public on astronomy and science in general. For the current year CAS conducted or participated in more than 24 outreach events at various venues around the area. 18,501
    2 continued CAS operates from a 4-acre site located in Cleves OH with a headquarters building and 4 observatories with permanently mounted telescopes available for members to use. The headquarters building contains an astronomical library with historical artifacts and the main meeting room. We provide members with telescope training astrophotography lessons and monthly meetings along with guest speakers or presentations to educate members and the public about various astronomical topics. CAS owns and provides two additional dark sky observing sites with telescopes in remote locations. 0
