What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Kansas Lions Multiple District 17 is part of Lions Clubs International LCI Association a non-profit service organization with membership in over 200 countries around the world The LCI Mission is to empower Lions Clubs volunteers and partners to improve health and well-being strengthen communities and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that ultimately impact lives globally and encourage peace and international understanding MD-17 has approximately 4000 members and maintains three foundations Kansas Lions Foundation heath youth and humanitarian programs Kansas Sight Foundation sight and hearing programs and Kansas Lions Band Foundation assists with hostingfinancing the annual Kansas Lions Band camp attended by 200 Kansas high school students and various college campuses
