What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Community and Civic Association that promotes open discussion and review of local government affairs.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Short Hills Association sends a weekly newsletter to members providing information on current topics of interest to the community concerning local municipal government particularly the Township Committee and the Planning Board. By occasionally meeting with Township officials and attending key committee meetings we attempt to report and highlight the issues of special importance to residents that are discussed at these meetings. During each annual election cycle we organize, conduct and moderate impartial election forums among candidates for the Township Committee and Board of Education when contested to allow residents to make informed voting decisions.
