What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Trade Association for Hawai`i banks that are members of the Hawai`i Bankers Association. Our purpose is to represent the member banks regarding education and training issues, as well as working with the various committees of HBA, and expressing analysis and opinions on pertinent issues.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 During the year, HBA researched and provided information regarding Silicon Valley bank and other regional banks, including to the media. HBA also provided training and information for bank employees. as well as information to others as to banking information.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 20 Our dues decreased by $4,420 because two of our members withdrew from membership in HBA as both banks were purchased by other banks. HBA had no Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering conference in 2022-2023, thus HBA had no gross revenue and no expenses since there was no conference; unlike in 2021. Because HBA's desk top computer stopped working properly, HBA purchased a new Dell personal computer of $1,110. Including the Dell computer and depreciation of furniture, thus the change in assets was $1,669.
