What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? As a 501c6 membership-based non-profit trade group we seek to encourage the research and development of new products made from industrial hemp while offering our members a network of like-minded trusted individuals. The KYHA and our members are dedicated to: Leading the effort to improve hemp laws throughout Kentucky and the U.S. Educating students of all ages about industrial hemp and hemp products. Facilitating the exchange of information and technology between hemp agriculturalists processors and manufacturers. Maintaining and defending the integrity of hemp products. Advocating and supporting socially responsible and environmentally sound business practices.
