	Clean Energy for America (CE4A) is the voice for the clean energy workforce, a new powerhouse of energy industry participants who overwhelmingly support ambitious action on climate to grow our economy and create jobs. According to the International Energy Agency, by 2026, global renewable electricity capacity is forecast to rise more than 60% from 2020 levels to over 4, 800 GW equivalent to the current total global power capacity of fossil fuels and nuclear combined, which will ultimately create millions of good paying jobs for the American worker.CE4A is of, by, and for this rapidly growing sector of the labor market. Our mission is to build lasting power within the clean energy community by uplifting, engaging with, and advocating on behalf of the industrys workforce.We are committed to highlighting innovation in this space, telling the stories of the workers and leaders who are bringing clean energy technologies into communities and changing the shape of the energy and economic landscape, countering the narrative from fossil-fuel backed interest groups aiming to slow the clean energy transition, and cultivating new champions at the local, state, and federal levels to make the clean energy economy a top priority for leaders at every level of government.In 2022, Clean Energy for America elevated the importance of clean energy investments hosting over 20 virtual and in-person events, including interviews with business leaders, workers, policymakers, and other experts. - Engaged +30 clean energy CEOs across the country to showcase innovation across the clean energy sector thats increasing access to clean, affordable energy. Our quotes from CEOs were amplified by the White House. - Petitioned national and 13 state-specific community sign-on letters calling for robust clean energy investments in the Build Back Better and infrastructure bills, generating over 500 total unique signers representing 34 states. The national letter was referenced in a White House press release, and the AZ letter was run as a full-page ad in the Arizona Republic.CE4A organized multiple events to highlight the importance of clean energy investments for economic growth, local businesses, job creation, and lowering energy costs for consumers and businesses. These events included clean energy business leaders and clean energy champions in the US House and Senate. Kathy Castor, Nanette Barragn, and Sean Casten moderated by Nidhi Thakar- February Press conference with business leaders and WH Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi, unveiled a new Dont Quit on Clean Energy petition with 400 workers and 80 businesses. - March in person clean energy roundtable with DOE Secretary Granholm and 10 clean energy business leaders. - Also included an in-person meeting with Senator Joe Manchin and other hill offices as well as a video from business leaders at the event. - June event with Sen.
