Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The mission of the Veterans of Foreign Wars is Fraternal, Educational, and Patriotic. We support active duty, retired, and separated service members and their dependents. We support local community and youth programs, VA Hospital activities, and national programs supporting veteran initiatives.

Explanation:

There was a conflict between the identified dates for our Fiscal Year starting and ending periods after our exempt status was re-established. This was initially filed and accepted in March of 2021 in hard copy as the system rejected any e-vile due to the conflict of dates. After the date issue was resolved it took a bit to get the system to recognize our organization as tax exempt again, also causing a series of rejections when trying to e-file. This was finally resolved as of the middle of October 2023 and all documents are in the system as of this filing.
