	The Agadez Learning Center (ALC) is a residential center in Agadez, Niger for rural or nomadic students who do not have local access to a middle school. The ALC helps ensure these communities are represented in the education system by providing girls with room and board, social and academic support, and a safe and inclusive community while they attend public middle school in the city of Agadez. The program removes barriers to education and enables more girls to continue their schooling. Through the generous grant funding from Circle of Sisterhood, this program not only empowers 76 girls to continue their schooling but also plays a pivotal role in shaping their futures, enabling them to build brighter and more stable lives ahead. The University of South Carolina College Panhellenic Association contributed a $10,000 grant to this cause, combining revenues from 2022 and prior years to make this happen.
