| Form 990, Part XII, Line 2c: | During its 2021 tax year, the Center became formally affiliated with and a member of the Covenant Health System. As part of this acquisition, the Center began to engage the same independent public accounting firm, Baker Newman Noyes, as does its new parent organization, Covenant Health, Inc. Baker Newman Noyes included the Center in its audit of the Covenant Health System's financial statements, and also provided Form 990 tax preparation services. These services with Baker Newman Noyes commenced with the 2022 year of reporting. The audit was subject to the review and oversight of the Center's CFO and finance committee, as well as key finance personnel of Covenant Health, Inc., and the St. Joseph Hospital of Bangor, another related organization within the broader Covenant Health System. |
