The return was mailed. Prior years mailed as well. This return was stamped and received 10/19/2022 by IRS via mail. It was returned with a letter explaining the efiling requirement. I had written the IRS requesting a waiver, due to the financial burden on our not-for-profit to file this way. There was no reply. The return of the 990 recently filed - was unexpected. I believe I found an affordable method to file electronically where I was able to do the return instead of hiring a CPA for thousands to file.
