What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE ALASKA SOCIETY OF INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANTS (ASIA) STRIVES TO GAIN PUBLIC TRUST BY PROMOTING PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND STANDARDS OF PRACTICE THROUGH EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY FOR ACCOUNTANTS AND TAX PRACTITIONERS. TO PROMOTE CORDIAL RELATIONS AMONG ACCOUNTANTS AND PROVIDE EDUCATION THROUGH BI-ANNUAL CE SEMINARS FROM THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE EXPERTS IN OUR FIELD. COMMUNITY THROUGH CONFERENCES, RELATIONSHIPS WITH FELLOW ACCOUNTANTS, AND NETWORKING FOR MEMBERSADVOCACY THROUGH OUR STRONG NETWORK AND GUIDANCE ON ACCOUNTING ETHICS.
