28 Kiwanis International Inc of Wilton CT was established in 1951 to, amongst other aims, to develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship. We have 80 members and meet weekly to educate members and any interested community members via featured civic and business speakers. Most importantly, via our club, we plan and voluntarily staff community fundraisers to benefit the Wilton Kiwanis Foundation.

Explanation:
This is my first year as treasurer of this not for profit. We attempted to file form electronically on irs.gov in January, but website informed us submission page was not available and to try back later. We attempted numerous times over Jan and early Feb 2023. Ultimately, we sent a paper copy of Form 990-EZ on Feb 4, 2023 (before deadline) in order to meet deadline. The paper form was returned to us on March 20, 2023 stating that paper was not accepted. We called IRS, who informed us we must use a 3rd party to file electronically. Hence, this submission using form 990 online. Our regrets for not realizing paper was not acceptable. We now know and will e-file in coming years.
