What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The American Immigration Lawyers Association is the national association of immigration lawyers established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 We held two conferences and several webinars throughout the year to provide legal education for members in the field of Immigration Law. Our in person conferences entail one international and one in the United States with an overall attendance of about 200 people. We also supported the 2022 National Day of Action in Washington DC where our members virtually met with congressional aides.
