What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Milwaukee Musicians Association, Local 8 of the American Federation of Musicians is a labor organization representing union musicians including four collective bargaining agreements. Its function is to unite the professional musicians within its jurisdiction who are eligible for membership without discrimination, regardless of race, religion, creed, color, political orientation, citizenship, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, or family status. To organize the professional musicians in its jurisdiction and to provide services to such organized professional musicians. To secure improved wages, hours, working conditions, and other economic advantages for the professional musicians in membership through collective bargaining and to establish terms and conditions for equitable and fair dealing among its members.
